Consultation Services

I offer case consultation services to therapists and psychologists on OCD and anxiety disorders. Whether the problem is differential diagnosis, assessing and managing safety issues, or addressing a clinical presentation you are unfamiliar with, sometimes two heads are better than one.

I have a background in supervising clinical staff in a residential program specialized in OCD and anxiety with comorbid depression and safety risk complications. I have experience assessing and managing suicidality and nonsuicidal self-harm in relation to OCD. My other specialized expertise is in religious scrupulosity. I am a part of the Faith and OCD Action Council at the International OCD Foundation. My research efforts have primarily revolved around scrupulous OCD as well.

Due to these experiences, I am skilled in:

• differential diagnosis, especially between OCD and impulse control problems, personality disorders (e.g., BPD and OCPD), and eating disorders.

• All things scrupulosity

• Complex or challenging OCD or anxiety cases

• Exposure and response prevention and training clinicians in its use
